Landscape Management System - Download

LMS install files are distributed as self-extracting or regular zip files. Use either IZArc, WinZip or PKZIP to unarchive zip files or to inspect exe files. Store the downloaded files in a temporary directory and then run the installation program (lms2*setup.exe) to install LMS.

LMS 2.1	-	The latest release of LMS 2.x includes new volume tables (Standing and Cut tables summarize by species; Volume by Size Class tables summarize by size class and species; Stand level tables are summarized per acre; Landscape level tables are expanded by acres to give stand and landscape totals), fixes cut biomass calculations in Carbon Sequstratin Table, fixed FVS crashing after landscape visualization, fixed regeneration problem with interactive growth, update to FVS variants (2008/04/04), base install now includes FFE Tools and Inventory Wizard. LMS 2.0.45r17 CDROM	-	This is a CD-ROM image that can be used to create the LMS Installation CD. This file was created using Roxio Easy CD Creator. LMS-FFE Addon Install	-	This installation requires that LMS 2.0.45r9 or later is installed first. This updated installation adds FVS growth model variants that include the FFE extension, additional tables for displaying fire and fuel effects, and a fire scoping tool which displays landscape level fire risk and stand structure information summarized into graphic outputs. LMS_Analyst for ArcView 3.x	-	This update to LMS_Analyst adds a Tally Adjacent Polygons feature. Please download this version and replace your previous LMS_Analyst.avx file.
